My name is Vanessa Bertinotti, I'm 50 and I live in Agra, a few minutes from Lugano (Switzerland).
For many years I have been cultivating my passion for health optimization and prevention through the improvement of my lifestyle. I like to call myself a biohacker. Feeling like a biohacker is first and foremost a mindset: the desire to become the best version of yourself.
A biohacker seeks to understand how genetics and epigenetics interact with each other, how they affect our health and longevity, and how to use this information to improve one's lifestyle in a personalized way. Awareness of one's body and its functioning are central to this purpose.
A biohacker works daily on sleep, nutrition, integration, training and management of one's psychophysical balance. In this context he experiments with various protocols, and in his approach two aspects are fundamentals: technology for monitoring his own vital parameters, and the contact with nature for the synchronization of his circadian rhythms.
Biohacking is an adventure that changes the way we feel, transforms our emotional state, and gives us the drive to achieve our dreams and goals.
It is essential to fall in love with your habits, live them intensely and understand why we do them. Only in this way can we anchor them in our lifestyle and be constant.
Habits shouldn't be an obsession, but rather an appointment with ourselves, the moments we give ourselves to feel better and live with more awareness and balance.
Being a biohacker requires curiosity, discipline, awareness, responsibility and a lot of constancy!
In 2021 I created my Podcast “Salute e Biohacking" available for free on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts and other minor platforms.
My mission is to bring experts to the table, people who inspire me or who share my passion for health optimization and biohacking.
The element that characterizes all my guests is the belief that improving one's health in a preventive way is always more advantageous than treating illnesses. Many diseases could be prevented if people began to have more awareness of their body and how it works.
The traditional medical definition of health is the absence of disease. Most of us agree that lack of disease is not necessarily a good indicator of health. The great enemies of our health are ageing, stress, a sedentary lifestyle, toxicities and nutritional deficiencies.
Thanks to modern science we can slow down aging and even reverse it! We can extend our healthspan: more strength, more energy, more vitality, more sexual desire…
In other words, if we change our mindset and focus on prevention and health optimization, we can improve the quality of our life and maintain a healthy mind and body until the day we die.
My dream is to build a Podcast over the years that can inspire people to make more informed choices for their health, so as to become the protagonists of their psychophysical well-being.

I started doing lifestyle improvement counseling a few months after I started my “Salute e Biohacking” Podcast. It was actually people who contacted me to ask me if I did one-to-one consultancy: professional and amateur athletes, health professionals, housewives, entrepreneurs or simply people who wanted to improve themselves.
Initially I didn't understand the value I could bring to these people, then I realized that they were all people who wanted to deal with me, with the wealth of experience I had accumulated over the years. Thanks to these people I realized that I had a lot of knowledge to pass on.
“Sharing is caring”. I think I'm a bridge, a guide, a confidant for many people who want to improve themselves.
Some topics that fall within my consultations: change of mentality (mindset), biohacking techniques and strategies, readings, sleep optimization, circadian rhythms and nature, nutrition, breathing techniques, stress management, experimentation and anchoring of new habits based on to goals, monitoring with wearable devices, sharing and comparison of experiences.
I like working outdoors, but for people who live far away, I'm also available online.
